South Central CASA of Oklahoma Every child deserves a voice. South Central CASA recruits, trains & supports volunteer advocates. Let us know how you'd like to get involved!

Court Appointed Special Advocates serving Cleveland, McClain & Garvin Counties. South Central CASA has existed since 1984, when it began operating as Cleveland County CASA. Since that time, we have served hundreds of abused and neglected children by offering members of the community opportunities to volunteer or otherwise support the organization. We look forward to continuing this great work under our new name.

๐Ÿ’™ A Day in the Life of South Central CASA! ๐Ÿ’™

Ever wonder what a day at CASA actually looks like? ๐Ÿ‘€ We decided to give you a peek behind the scenes!

From starting our morning with United Way of Norman and The Virtue Center for our United Way Campaign Kickoff โ˜•, to approving Optima logs, reviewing PARB reports, attending Family Drug Court, and connecting with our community partners, thereโ€™s always something happening!

And of course, not every part of the day is strictly โ€œCASA work.โ€ One of our staff members even took her son to the dentist for a routine cleaning! ๐Ÿฆท๐Ÿ’™

Our Executive Director also spent time with the ladies of Kappa Alpha Theta at OU, talking about CASA and the importance of advocating for children in our community. ๐Ÿ’™

No two days look exactly the same, but everything we do comes back to the same mission: supporting our volunteers and advocating for children.

๐Ÿช ๐‚๐š๐ฆ๐๐ž๐ง ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐จ๐ฐ๐ง๐ž๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Œ๐ข๐ฑ๐ž๐ ๐’๐ฎ๐ ๐š๐ซ ๐๐š๐ค๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ, where she creates custom cookies for every occasion right here in Norman!

Camden joined the South Central CASA Board in ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” and brings a long-standing passion for supporting children in foster care. ๐Ÿ’™

She was first introduced to youth in foster care during her senior year of high school through ๐‘๐จ๐ฒ๐š๐ฅ ๐…๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐Š๐ˆ๐ƒ๐’ ๐‚๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ and later became connected to CASA through her sorority, ๐Š๐š๐ฉ๐ฉ๐š ๐€๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ก๐š ๐“๐ก๐ž๐ญ๐š ๐š๐ญ ๐Ž๐”.

This is her ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐’๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐€๐’๐€ ๐๐จ๐š๐ซ๐, and weโ€™re so excited to have her as part of our CASA family!

Landryโ€™s connection to CASA is personal. ๐Ÿ’™ Many of her friends and family are involved in the foster care system in some capacity, giving her the opportunity to see firsthand the impact CASA can have on the lives of children and families.

When the opportunity came to serve her community and support people she cares about, ๐ข๐ญ ๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ ๐š ๐ง๐จ-๐›๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ซ. Landry is excited to give back, support our community, and help continue the important work of South Central CASA.

He joined the South Central CASA Board of Directors in ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ and is honored to have the opportunity to serve our organization and community.

John hopes to use his ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐š๐ฅ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐ž๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ฌ to support our CASA staff and volunteers as we work together to serve children in need throughout our communities. ๐Ÿ’™
