πβ€οΈ National Reunification Month β€οΈπ
This National Reunification Month, South Central CASA celebrates the families, children, and professionals who work together to achieve safe, lasting permanency for children in foster care.
Out of the 190 children we have served in FY26, 61.7% of them achieved permanency through reunification, demonstrating that when families receive the support, resources, and opportunities they need, children can safely return home and thrive.
At South Central CASA, our volunteers advocate for what is in each child's best interest. Whenever reunification can be achieved safely and successfully, CASA supports efforts to strengthen families, remove barriers, and help children maintain meaningful connections with those they love.
While adoption and guardianship are important permanency outcomes, we recognize that reunification often provides children with the opportunity to remain connected to their families, culture, and community. Our commitment is to ensure every child has a safe, permanent, and nurturing homeβwhatever path to permanency best serves their needs.
Join us in celebrating the power of family, resilience, and the partnerships that help make reunification possible.
