We are thrilled to celebrate with Adams PTA Norman, Tulsa Memorial High School - PTA, and Wilson Arts Integration School PTA (OKC) for being designated as National PTA Schools of Excellence for 2025-2027!

Calling any and all public school employees!!

Rep. Michelle McCane & I are hosting listening sessions for y’all in the next few months, and they’re themed!

Here’s the deets:

Those who register will be notified via email if they are selected to participate. Those selected will receive a link to a Microsoft Teams Meeting where the session is held (I’ll add this link in the comments).

Our listening sessions will be divided into two parts. The first half of the sesh will go over any included questions & allow participants the opportunity to respond to as few or as many as they choose. The second half of the session will be more conversational, allowing us to ask y’all any remaining questions.

Y’all for sure got things to say, and we’re for sure listening!

Tomorrow is Norman Public Schools' annual Strategic Plan Meeting. This is a special board meeting and open to the public at the Nancy O'Brian Center. It starts at 8:30 am and goes until ??? Typically, they are a daylong affair, and the Board and Cabinet discuss directions for the next school year.

Tonight we celebrate amazing students, parents, and teachers! At our last meeting of the year, we awarded student scholarships to five amazing seniors from Norman High School PTA, our Elementary and Secondary Volunteers of the Year, and we elected new Council officers! What a great way to end the year and get excited for next year!
