We’re honored to serve our senior community every day, and we love coming together for events that bring all generations in Moore together! Come say hi, grab some candy, and stay for Hocus Pocus under the stars.

Aging Services, Inc. is hosting a free training session on October 28, 2026 at the Canadian Valley Technology Center in El Reno, OK! Whether you are a caregiver navigating stress or a grandparent/older adult raising kids, this event offers valuable support, resources, and expert guidance.

🍂 When autumn temperatures start to dip, staying warm and cozy at home is top priority! Before turning up the heat, take a few minutes to check off these quick home safety steps:
🔋 Test smoke & CO detectors: Change the batteries in all detectors throughout your home.
🔌 Space heater space: Keep space heaters at least 3 feet away from curtains, bedding, and furniture, and always plug them directly into a wall outlet.
🧹 Chimney & furnace check: Have heating systems inspected annually by a professional to ensure proper ventilation.

🚌 STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Bob A. 🚌
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of riding on the Aging Services Kiwanis Kruiser, you already know Bob A.!
Over the years, Bob has driven our bus and provided thousands of safe, reliable rides to seniors across Norman. Whether he's taking passengers to essential medical appointments, weekly grocery runs, banking trips, or errands, Bob picks up every single senior with a warm smile and drops them safely back home with that exact same smile.
Our seniors know they can count on Bob for a safe round trip wherever they need to go, and his extraordinary dedication hasn't gone unnoticed! Bob was nominated for, and won, the KFOR Channel 4 and First Fidelity Bank Pay It 4Ward Award for going above and beyond to assist Norman seniors with their transportation needs.
All of us at Aging Services Inc. are incredibly proud to work alongside Bob. Thank you, Bob, for keeping our community moving!

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: Nikki R.
If you’ve visited the Norman Adult Wellness and Education Center (formerly the Norman Senior Center), chances are you’ve seen Nikki R. making a difference!
For years, Nikki has been a steady, welcoming presence at the AWE nutrition site. She is always the first to jump in, lend a helping hand, and ensure our Norman seniors enjoy a warm, nutritious meal with a smile.
Her dedication doesn't stop in the kitchen, either, Nikki constantly looks out for her fellow seniors and approaches every day with a true heart for serving others. Simply put, without the selflessness of volunteers like Nikki, our community programs would be lost.
Nikki, thank you for your incredible heart and dedication to Norman's older adults!

Join us for our annual Aging Services Chili Cook-Off! Come enjoy delicious, warm bowls of chili made by our local community and support a great cause. Every bowl served directly benefits our local seniors! 💙
