🚨 COMMUNITY HELP NEEDED! 🚨

With the high temperatures expected this week, the Newton Jr Railers Football & Cheer Club is looking for indoor practice space for our football teams.

We’re reaching out to our amazing community to see if any businesses, churches, gyms, warehouses, schools, or organizations may have indoor space available for our teams to use during evening practice hours.

🏈 No football gear will be worn or needed indoors — we are simply looking for a safe, air-conditioned space where our athletes can work on walkthroughs, conditioning, fundamentals, and team preparation while staying out of the extreme heat.

✅ Insurance information is available upon request.

If you have a space that may work — or know someone who does — please reach out to us! Even if you can only accommodate one team or one evening, we would be incredibly grateful.

🏈🚂 IT’S TIME TO HIT THE FIELD, RAILERS! 🚂🏈

This weekend, the Jr Railers are headed to Rose Hill for the annual Rose Bowl Scrimmage!

Our athletes have been putting in the work, and now it’s time to line up against some competition and show what that BLACK & GOLD is all about!

For many of our new players, this will be their very first GAME DAY experience — the helmets, the sidelines, the cheering fans, the nerves, and that feeling of stepping onto the field with their teammates for the first time. We can’t wait to light that fire! 🔥

Our playing schedule is below, and we would LOVE to see the stands packed with Jr Railer families and fans wearing BLACK & GOLD! 🖤💛

Tonight was one of those nights that reminds us why the Jr Railers family is so special! 💛🖤📣

Our Jr Railer cheer squads got to spend some time with our amazing NHS cheerleaders at our Ice Cream Social—and it was a HUGE hit! 🍦✨

There were surprise gifts (with the high school cheerleaders hiding inside! 😉), plenty of ice cream, and even some hilarious remakes of awkward family photos to top it all off! 😂📸

But honestly, the sweetest part was watching our younger girls and guys connect with cheerleaders who were once right where they are now. Getting to keep that connection with some of our girls as they move on to high school is incredibly special. 💛

We love seeing these relationships grow, watching our girls and guys have role models to look up to, and building a cheer family that continues long after Jr Railers. 🖤💛

Thank you to our NHS cheerleaders for spending the evening with our girls and making it so memorable! 📣🍦✨

Football Mom 101 was a BLAST! 🏈🖤💛

We covered some football basics, talked equipment and gear, visited with a couple of high school football mamas who were once Jr. Railer moms themselves, and of course… we got to tackle our favorite players! 😂🏈

A HUGE shoutout to Craig Ney for bringing the energy and doing some announcing for us! 🎤🙌 And thank you to all of our amazing coaches and board volunteers who helped make this night happen. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!

Mother Nature decided she might want to join the party, so we had to rush things a little toward the end. We appreciate everyone rolling with it! 🌧️💨

We hope our football moms left feeling a little more confident, a little more knowledgeable, and ready to cheer their players on this season!
