✨ Day 1 of our Girls Live Love Laugh Inc. First Generation Graduate Legacy Program was a success! 🎓

The session was informative, engaging, and filled with plenty of laughter. The smiles, conversations, and positive energy in the room were a clear sign that we’re on the right path.💗💛

Girls; Live, Love, Laugh Inc. is proud to launch its HBCU First Generation Graduate Program, empowering young minds and fostering academic excellence.

After a brief pause following sixteen years of successfully guiding young people and sending our last four cohorts of young women into higher education, we're revitalizing our mentorship program with renewed energy and dedication.

We're thrilled to see our alumni stepping up to lead as interns and facilitators in our summer HBCU program, embodying the spirit of paying it forward to thr next generation of leaders.

We’re Back 💛💗

After 16 years of nonstop mentorship, community service, and empowering more than 3000 Newark girls, our organization made the decision to take a nine-month sabbatical after proudly sending our final four graduates off to college.

During that time, we rested, reflected on our journey, celebrated our accomplishments, and spent meaningful time with family and friends.

Now, we are excited to announce that we are officially back!
We are proud to kick off our 2026 Spring–Fall First Generation Graduate HBCU Legacy Program in partnership with University High School.

This next chapter is all about continuing the work, building legacy, and creating even more opportunities for the next generation of young leaders. Newark, we’re back and ready to make an even greater impact! 💗💛✨

The New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus Foundation (NJLBCF) Leadership Institute offers an eight-week, paid undergraduate internship that provides hands-on experience in the state legislative process. It is designed for students passionate about public policy and empowering historically marginalized communities.
