Thank you to everyone who joined us for yoga in the park. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, our classes are a great way to start your day surrounded by nature and positive energy. 🌿☀️

Yoga takes place every Wednesday and Saturday from 10:00 AM–11:00 AM at Essex County Branch Brook Park. Classes are FREE and open to all!

We’re incredibly thankful to the volunteers from Marriott who came out today and gave their time, effort, and positive energy to support the park. Your work made a real difference and helped enhance the space for everyone who visits.

It was inspiring to see the park brought to life through teamwork and dedication, with people coming together to care for a space that means so much to the community.

Feeling so grateful after an amazing day of community and movement at Essex County Branch Brook Park 🌿✨

A heartfelt thank you to the volunteers from NJM Insurance who came out today and gave their time, energy, and kindness to support our event. Your help made such a difference and helped bring the park to life in the best way.

There’s something really special about seeing a space like Branch Brook Park filled with people coming together—moving, connecting, and sharing positive energy. Today was a reminder of how powerful community can be when we all show up for the places we love.

For this little explorer, the park is more than a destination—it is home. The trees provide shelter, the gardens offer nourishment, and the open landscape creates space for wildlife to live, grow, and thrive. ✨

Every tree planted, every invasive species removed, every garden tended, and every volunteer hour given helps protect places like this for the creatures who share the park with us. Their future is woven into the stewardship of this landscape. 🌱

🌿🛡️ Today, the students of North Star Academy Washington Park High School did more than plant flowers and clean a park—they stood as protectors of a landscape that belongs to all of us.

In Essex County Branch Brook Park, they worked with purpose, tending gardens, removing litter, and caring for the spaces where nature and community meet. Their efforts helped strengthen an environment that supports pollinators, shelters wildlife, improves air quality, and welcomes more than a million visitors each year. 🌱✨

Stewardship is an act of hope. It is the belief that a place is worth caring for, even when someone else may never know your name. Today, these young leaders chose action over indifference and service over convenience.

The gardens will bloom because of their hands. The park will be stronger because of their efforts. And our future will be brighter because young people like these are choosing to lead. 💚

🌸🌱 Today, a cherry blossom tree found a new home in the Extension Division of Essex County Branch Brook Park—planted by the hands of Park Elementary students alongside our Horticulturist Kelley Forsyth and gardener JaiJai.

Month after month throughout the school year, these students join Branch Brook Park Alliance in the park to learn, explore, and care for the landscape. They plant, w**d, observe pollinators, study trees, and discover that stewardship is not something we inherit—it is something we practice. ✨

Every lesson in the garden is a seed. Every act of care is a root. And every young person who learns to love the natural world becomes part of its future. 💚🌳
