For Earth Day, the community truly showed up and showed out at Nat Turner Park alongside the New Jersey Tree Foundation to plant trees and give back to the neighborhood 🌱💚
Even with the rain, the energy was still radiant. From young children excited to get their hands in the soil to students from Central High School volunteering their time and effort, everyone came together with smiles, laughter, and a shared goal of making a positive impact in the community. It was inspiring to see people working side by side and genuinely pouring into something bigger than themselves.
A special thank you to Elena Messina for giving us this opportunity, and thank you to our funders, Verizon and the Arbor Day Foundation, for supporting this meaningful initiative. We also want to thank the volunteer groups who came out to lend their time and energy — M&T Bank, Robert Half, Mondelez International, Central High School, Target, and Verizon. Your presence and support helped make this day such a success.
This was about more than just planting trees. It was about unity, community, and showing the power of what can happen when people come together for a good cause 🤍✨
