Today, on Menstrual Hygiene Day, we’re highlighting our partnership with Period. Inc. and Alliance For Period Supplies and our ongoing work to advance menstrual equity.

In the US, 16.9 million people who menstruate struggle to afford period products, with the burden falling hardest on low-income families and caregivers.

Together, we’re advocating year-round for legislation that expands access to menstrual supplies and working to ensure families have the essential items they need to thrive.

Follow along for a day in the life with our Director of Corporate Partnerships, Ahmad, as he travelled to Engage for Good 2026 in Palm Springs. ✈️☀️

He spent his time connecting with leaders shaping corporate impact and catching up with our incredible partners at Harry's, Mattel, and Tom's Of Maine.

Along the way, he built new connections with teams from , Platypus Shoes, Girls Who Code, Malala Fund, Mattress Firm and Discovery Education.

Every child deserves a secure ride—let’s make it happen together.

Last year, we received 1,175 requests for car seats across NYC and Los Angeles, and this year, we expect that need to grow. Car seats are one of the most essential items for families with young children, but they’re also one of the hardest for us to supply through donations.

This Period Poverty Awareness Week, Good+ staff met with legislators from New York and California to advocate for the Menstrual Equity for All Act, the Period PROUD (Providing Resources for Our Underserved and Disadvantaged) Act, the Good Samaritan Menstrual Products Act, and the TANF Hygiene Access Act.

These bills aim to expand equitable access to menstrual products and strengthen distribution efforts, particularly through nonprofits serving under-resourced communities. As a member of the Alliance For Period Supplies, Good+ remains committed to raising awareness about the barriers many families face in accessing period products and to advancing efforts to combat period poverty and eliminate the tampon tax at the local, state, and national levels.

Thank you to the offices of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Senator Adam Schiff, Rep. Jimmy Gomez, Rep. George Latimer, and Congressman Jay Obernolte for taking the time to meet with our team and discuss these critical issues.
