Step Beyond recently hosted a panel discussion titled "Learn Directly with the Leaders" on the agenda "Exploring criminal justice reform, advocacy and community action". The distinguished panel featured:

3. Gina Williams, Community Affairs Advocate, Office of Public Advocate Jumaane D. Williams

The discussion was led by Priya Baranwal—former judge from India and Participatory Defense Fellow at Step Beyond—alongside co-moderators Buka Okoye and Muharrem Ziba, Step Beyond summer interns and rising 2Ls at Columbia Law School.
