National Jazz Museum in Harlem There is no better way to celebrate freedom than with music and the 6th Annual Juneteenth Black Music and Dance celebration will have you moving! This year’s outdoor celebration is rooted in community, dance, and sounds from the Black Diaspora. There will be a dynamic lineup of artists spanning gospel, jazz fusion, hip-hop, and dance.
Among the artists, we are excited to feature Mumu Fresh, also known as Maimouna Youssef. The GRAMMY-nominated, Indigenous Music Award–winning artist and U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassador has served as governor of the Washington, DC chapter of the Recording Academy and is an ambassador for the Black Music Collective. Her recent performance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon was beyond inspiring! 🎶
