Help Us Reach Further

The Feldenkrais Foundation is coming back to life—and we’re reaching farther than ever.

For years, the Feldenkrais Foundation has been a place where people can rediscover themselves and learn to overcome obstacles in their lives. Though are programs were reduced over COVID, we’re now re-building and expanding our vision with fresh energy, new programs, and a growing community.

And we want to reach even further.

We’re creating opportunities for people who might never otherwise encounter the Feldenkrais Method: musicians and guitarists looking for greater ease and freedom in their playing, Spanish-speaking communities seeking access in their own language, and people who need affordable sessions to move forwards in their lives.

We’re expanding our programming with:

🎸 Feldenkrais for Guitarists
Exploring how the Feldenkrais Method can support musicians to play with greater ease, coordination, and expression.

🌎 Programs for Spanish Speakers
Bringing the Feldenkrais Method to Spanish-speaking communities and making these transformative lessons more accessible across language barriers.

🪑 A Day of Seated Lessons - 6/27/2026
Showing that meaningful somatic education doesn't require getting down on the floor. Our seated lessons make the Method accessible to people with different physical abilities and needs.

💙 Our Low-Fee Clinic
Creating an affordable entry point for people who may not otherwise be able to experience individual Feldenkrais sessions.

✨ The Global Feldenkrais Festival 2026
And coming up, we’re preparing for our world-wide Global Feldenkrais Festival from November 17-22 that will bring our community together for online Awareness Through Movement lessons, lectures, and a celebration of the Method with likeminded people from all over the world.

These programs are more than a schedule of classes. They are ways of opening doors for people and building new opportunities.

Every donation helps us create more opportunities, reach new communities, support teachers and practitioners, and make the Feldenkrais Method available to more people around the world.

We’re starting with a goal of $5,000 this Fall —and we hope you’ll help us reach it.

Whether you give $10, $50, $100, your contribution helps the Foundation take the next step.

Help us reach further. Help us bring the Feldenkrais Method to more people. And help us bring the Foundation fully back to life.

Thank you for being part of our work.

The Feldenkrais Foundation is coming back to life—and we’re reaching farther than ever.

Join us Mondays at 11:30 am EST for class with Liz O'Brien. Link in bio and on our website feldenkraisfoundation.org

Here's more about Liz:

Liz came upon the Feldenkrais Method in 2018 while completing their B.A. at Hampshire College, finding it a useful resource for their research at the time. Although at first their draw to Feldenkrais was more cerebral, Liz soon fell into a process of self-transformation that attuned them towards a playful and curious way of sensing themself. A former farmworker and immersed in a community of farmers, Liz particularly enjoys teaching to students who are engaged in physically exertive work and helping them find ways of accessing pain free movement. Liz is a movement educator and dancer currently living and teaching in western Massachusetts.

Hello Feldenkrais Community!

We are excited to offer more times for individualized Functional Integration sessions as part of our Low-Fee clinic starting immediately. These sessions will increase the times and sessions available on Saturdays moving forward. We hope this will provide the opportunity for more people of diverse populations to benefit from the Feldenkrais Method®.

or call 212-727-1210.

Wanda Gala will be starting as a practitioner in the Low-Fee clinic. Wanda brings a wealth of experience as a dance artist and dance/somatic educator. She is also the co-founder of the NYC based somatic practice, Autosomatica and a Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner. Wanda worked for the Foundation teaching ATM® before the pandemic and we are thrilled she has decided to rejoin us.

Our Programs and Operations Director Jeremy Cline will also start to practice in the Low-Fee clinic. Graduating as a GCFP last November, he uses his training in dance, acrobatics, martial arts, philosophy, and primitive skills to inform his practice.
And as always, our work as a non profit relies on donations from people like you. Please consider donating so we can continue to help more people experience the life-changing impact of the Feldenkrais Method®.
