The Ukrainian National Women’s League of America (UNWLA) condemns the proposed 28-point so-called “peace plan” for Ukraine.
Rather than a plan for a just and legitimate peace, this plan provides for the dismantling of Ukraine as a sovereign nation state and seeks to permanently impose its subservience to the aggressor russia, by limiting or prohibiting means of defense and alliance. It legitimizes and rewards russia, and undermines the entire world order, by demanding that Ukraine agree to the redrawing of its borders by force. It provides no accountability for the countless war crimes committed by russia against Ukraine, including forced deportations, torture, filtration camps, and the targeted and systematic removal of Ukrainian children.
This is not a peace plan. It is an ultimatum based on russia’s wish list. Not only does it legitimize territorial seizures russia obtained by armed aggression, but it further gives russia additional gains which it failed to achieve by force. This coercive plan would compel Ukraine to accept conditions that violate its sovereignty, effectively eliminating Ukraine as a free and independent democratic state. A real and just peace cannot arise from coercion. This “peace plan” does not represent a legitimate peace process.
We call upon the United States Congress and the Administration to stand with Ukraine and the principles of sovereignty, freedom and self-determination. Reject this proposed “peace plan,” which eviscerates Ukraine, normalizes and rewards russia’s aggression, and weakens the United States and the entire transatlantic community.

Союз Українок Америки засуджує запропонований так званий “мирний план” для України з 28 пунктів.
Замість того, щоб бути планом справедливого та легітимного миру, цей документ передбачає фактичне демонтування України як суверенної держави та прагне остаточно закріпити її підпорядкованість державі-агресору росії, обмежуючи або забороняючи засоби оборони та союзництва. Він легітимізує та винагороджує росію, підриваючи весь світовий порядок, адже вимагає, щоб Україна погодилася на зміну своїх кордонів силою. У ньому не передбачено жодної відповідальності за численні воєнні злочини, скоєні росією проти України, включно з примусовими депортаціями, тортурами, фільтраційними таборами та цілеспрямованим системним викраденням українських дітей.
Це не план миру. Це ультиматум, побудований на списку побажань росії. Він не лише легітимізує територіальні захоплення, здійснені росією шляхом збройної агресії, але й надає їй додаткові вигоди, яких росія не змогла досягти силою. Цей примусовий “план” змушує Україну прийняти умови, що порушують її суверенітет і фактично позбавляють її статусу вільної та незалежної демократичної держави. Справжній і справедливий мир не може виникнути з примусу. Цей «мирний план» не є легітимним мирним процесом.
Ми закликаємо Конгрес Сполучених Штатів і Адміністрацію твердо підтримати Україну та принципи суверенітету, свободи й самовизначення. Відхилити запропонований «мирний план», який знищує Україну, нормалізує та винагороджує агресію росії й послаблює Сполучені Штати та всю трансатлантичну спільноту.

The American Coalition for Ukraine is horrified that the Trump Administration is pressuring Ukraine to accept a 28-point peace plan which amounts to surrender and appeasement, and threatening to stop aid and intel if Ukraine refuses.
