Every meal rescued is more than food on a plate. It's less waste in a landfill, fewer emissions in our atmosphere, and more support for communities facing food insecurity.

Food waste accounts for roughly 8–10% of global greenhouse gas emissions, making food rescue one of the most immediate ways we can create environmental and social impact at the same time. 🍽️

We’re on a mission to rescue more food — and we need your help to do it. We just launched our Food Donor Referral Program. If you know a corporate office, cafeteria, or food service provider that deals with surplus food, introduce us. That’s it. We handle everything from there. Every new partner means more food rescued and more people fed in our community. As a thank-you, you’ll receive a $100 digital gift card for every referral that comes on board as a recurring partner. RLC founder & CEO Robert Lee is officially a published author 📘

His book, Millions of Meals Hidden in Plain Sight, explores the connection between food waste, hunger, infrastructure, and inequality.

After more than a decade of building RLC, put many of his ideas, systems, and experiences behind the work into this book.

Huge congratulations Robert! We’re proud to continue the fight against food waste and food insecurity and pursue our mission to feed people, not landfills.

In the face of challenging times, we’re taking inspiration from the powerful community of nonprofit organizations that are in Cambridge and beyond.

This funding will help us continue to expand our network and fulfill our mission of saving nutritious food from ending up landfills, and supplying it to those struggling with food insecurity.💙

What an amazing Repack for Impact event with the team at ! We worked together to redistribute over 200 pounds of food to , a non-profit organization dedicated to helping New Yorkers living with HIV and other chronic illnesses find housing, gain access to healthcare, housing and much more since 1991. 💙🌎

What an amazing Repack for Impact event with the team at 💙! We worked together to redistribute 30 gourmet meals to recipient, a non-profit leading policy advocacy and direct-service dedicated to ending mass homelessness. They provide crisis services, housing assistance and job training, supporting vulnerable New Yorkers.
