‪Did you know that all the statues of women in Central Park are of fictional characters?‬

‪That’s about to change. For the first time in the park’s 167-year history, real women will be represented. ‬

‪Artist Meredith Bergmann has created the Women’s Rights Pioneers Monument featuring Sojourner Truth, Susan B. Anthony, and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, to be unveiled August 26. ‬

Thank you to all who have worked tirelessly over the last 6 years to make this happen.
