Caring for Colombia (”CFC”) is recognized as a tax exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code. Caring For Colombia is a non-profit organization based in New York. Established in 2003, the Foundation mobilizes resources towards healing vulnerable communities in Colombia through health, education, art and creativity programs.

🌍 This Earth Day, we celebrate the allies who work for a better planet — and the communities in Colombia rewriting their story.

🚲 In Vichada, the Mapayerri Indigenous community is reclaiming their land, one bicycle at a time. By reaching dispersed natural resources across their territory, they are strengthening food sovereignty, protecting ancestral knowledge, and reinforcing their cultural identity — on their own terms.

💧 In Cali, families are gaining reliable access to safe drinking water. Through clay filters that remove harmful contaminants, Nuestra Génesis is transforming a daily health risk into peace of mind. And the impact goes further — empowering children, youth, and families to become true stewards of their environment and their future.
