Last Friday, we were proud to unveil RxART’s collaboration with Hilary Pecis for Gracie Square Hospital, transforming the activity rooms and group therapy space in the Young Adult/College Student unit.

In a program where the average length of stay is approximately 10 days, patients often spend much of their time in these shared rooms. Pecis approached this commission with great care, creating three works on paper—including a series of landscapes—designed to enhance comfort and peacefulness through imagery of nature ⛰️🌊

Her original artworks were photographed and fabricated in Acrovyn, a hospital-approved wall material, resulting in immersive, tranquil murals that now bring a sense of serenity from the outdoors into the patient unit.

RxART has partnered with Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY to bring site-specific artwork to the newly constructed Pediatric Emergency Department 🏥🖼️

Artist Julia Chiang transforms the main vestibule and a central corridor with flowing, meditative abstract forms inspired by the relationship between the natural world and the human body. Designed to calm, comfort, and uplift, the installation creates a welcoming first impression for patients, families, and staff in one of the most diverse communities in the country.

Printed on durable, medical-grade Acrovyn, the artwork is built to last—bringing warmth and calm to this high-traffic space for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who gathered with us on February 11 at THE GRILL | THE POOL for the 2026 RxART Gala—an evening defined by creativity and community ✨

This year, we were proud to honor two extraordinary champions of our mission: , for her steadfast leadership and deep belief in the power of artists to shape healing spaces; and , whose monumental mosaic Freesias on My Mind at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn is a powerful example of how art can transform sterile, intimidating healthcare settings into places of comfort, healing, and beauty 🖼️

From a vibrant cocktail hour at THE GRILL, where guests explored our pop-up featuring limited-edition pajamas, to an elegant dinner at THE POOL, the evening celebrated recently completed hospital projects by , , and , while also offering a preview of upcoming projects in cities across the country.

🎨Last weekend was full of inspiration for RxART when we were joined by friends and supporters for two tours of incredible new exhibitions✨

First, we hosted a behind-the-scenes visit to The Easton Foundation & Louise Bourgeois Archive. Guests explored Bourgeois’s historic home and studio, gaining insight into her artistic process, personal history, and the Foundation’s mission to preserve and expand scholarship around her legacy. The tour continued with a visit to the Louise Bourgeois exhibition at Hauser & Wirth.

Next, gathered at the new global headquarters of Sotheby’s in the iconic Breuer Building for an exclusive, specialist-led tour of the New York Sales exhibitions. Guests viewed works including highlights from the Leonard A. Lauder Collection and the Cindy and Jay Pritzker Collection.
