As women and girls in suffer a severe humanitarian crisis, the life-saving care from UNFPA that they rely on is at risk of ending.

A huge funding shortfall means that our work on the ground is only 24% funded through to the end of May.

Without immediate funding, the consequences are stark:

🟠 13,000+ pregnant women will lose access to life-saving maternal health services
🟠 75,000+ women will lose access to critical GBV protection and safe spaces
🟠 65,000+ women and girls will no longer receive essential dignity kits.

Sustained investment is vital to protect their health, safety, and dignity.

Meet Hasset Dereje. She is Miss World Africa 2025 and a Youth Champion in . When we asked her to advocate for the girls who need it most, she didn't hesitate.
