Today is a reminder to be a little more like Charlie.
Charlie wasn’t just fighting for the right.
He was fighting for America, for the West, and for the values that hold free societies together.
His mission was simple: in a world that has forgotten how to speak to one another, be the bridge.
A person’s legacy is not defined only by what they accomplish in life, but by what they leave behind. Charlie leaves behind millions of people inspired to keep showing up, keep speaking, and keep engaging across the divides that threaten to pull us apart.
That is what makes his legacy so powerful.
Because one of the most valuable things a free society can preserve is our ability to communicate with one another, especially when we disagree.
If we can take away just one thing from today, it should be this:
Be a little more willing to speak.
A little more willing to listen.
A little more willing to cross the divide.
Be a little more like Charlie.
