TODAY: We’re launching the fight for free, full-day, full-year 3-K and Pre-K! ✊

You wouldn’t settle for half a cup of coffee. So why should NYC families settle for half a day of care?

We’re demanding better for parents, and calling on Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani and Speaker Julie Menin to make every 3-K and Pre-K seat free, full-day, and full-year - 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., all year long.

No more 2:30 p.m. pickups. No more summer scramble. No more piecing together 10 different types of care just to keep your job.

We’re not settling for half.

Had the best storytime today with The Motherhood Collective NYC and Where NYC Mamas Meet!

We learned about very hungry caterpillars and very pricey child care - and built our power to win universal child care for ALL families in New York.

📖 Bushwick Story Time in the Garden 🌸

On Saturday, August 8, we’re partnering with .nyc to spread the word for universal child care and build our ability to fight for it!

Join us Cooper St. Community Garden to share your stories and connect with fellow parents and would-be parents who are fighting to make NY affordable for ALL families.

We’ll have story time and arts and crafts for kids and a child care action table for the grownups.

Proud to break a sweat with in the 2K for 2-K today!

Thank you to the parents who showed up - and ran up the steep hills of Fort Tryon Park - to spread the word about 2-K. The more outreach we can do, the more parents can get the free seats they need.
