More than a dance company. A movement.

The CLYMOVEMENT is the growing community, artistic philosophy, and collective spirit behind CLYMOVE Dance.

As CLYMOVE enters its seventh season, MOVE WITH US is more than a season title or fundraising campaign. It is an invitation to participate in something larger than ourselves.

The CLYMOVEMENT is about changing how we make art, how we care for artists, and how we connect through movement.

We’re not simply asking people to support a dance company. We’re inviting them to become part of a movement.

Our goal is big: raise $30,000 by December 31.

The arts give us a place to gather. To question. To feel. To imagine. To make sense of things that don’t always make sense. Dance asks us to be present in our bodies and with one another. It reminds us that we are human—and that we belong to something larger than ourselves.

We have grown from an idea into a company, a community, and a home for artists. We have created new work, commissioned choreographers, toured, performed on New York stages, taken risks, celebrated women and mentorship, and continued to build a company culture rooted in care, mental health, artistic rigor, and connection.

And now we are building Season VII.

This $30,000 is not an abstract number. It is rehearsal hours. Studio space. Dancer salaries. New work. Costumes. Production. Touring. Collaborating. Creating opportunities for

MOVE WITH US. ♥️ 🔗BIO

Today, we officially launch CLYMOVE’s Season VII fundraising campaign.

Our goal is big: raise $30,000 by December 31.

And I’m asking you—personally—to move with us.

I believe deeply that supporting the arts is crucial. And right now, it feels more important than ever.

The arts give us a place to gather. To question. To feel. To imagine. To make sense of things that don’t always make sense. Dance asks us to be present in our bodies and with one another. It reminds us that we are human—and that we belong to something larger than ourselves.

For seven seasons, I have been building CLYMOVE around those beliefs.

We have grown from an idea into a company, a community, and a home for artists. We have created new work, commissioned choreographers, toured, performed on New York stages, taken risks, celebrated women and mentorship, and continued to build a company culture rooted in care, mental health, artistic rigor, and connection.

And now we are building Season VII.

The search is over—and we are SO excited to officially welcome our newest company dancers to CLYMOVE Dance!

After an incredible audition process, followed by weeks of dancing, creating, experimenting, and getting to know our guest cohort in the studio, we found the artists who will be stepping forward with us into SEASON VII: MOVE WITH US.

Please welcome one of our newest CLYMOVERS:

From the very beginning, we knew we weren’t simply looking for beautiful dancers. We were looking for artists who could bring their full selves into the room—curiosity, individuality, generosity, fearlessness, humor, humanity, and a willingness to MOVE together.

MOVE WITH US — SEASON VII

♦️M’Shiari Gonzales (she/her) is a proud native New Yorker. In the city she trained at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Peridance Capezio Center. She received a BFA in Dance Performance from SMU where she performed works by Silas Farley, Pat Taylor, Matthew Neenan, Brandi Coleman, and Kimberly Cooper. She debuted, Ancre, Sa Bouée de Sauvetage, Les Nutriments Meres de Son Sol, a solo at the Winspear Opera House. She was recently a Rehearsal Assistant for the Peridance Collective in the city and is beyond overjoyed to now be joining the Clymove family!!

MOVE WITH US — SEASON VII

♦️Beatrice Miller (she/they) was born and raised in the Bay Area, California where she trained at Oakland School for the Arts. Beatrice graduated summa cm laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program. As a member of HopeBoykinDance, she performed at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. She has also performed works by Alvin Ailey, Christopher Huggins, Keerati Jinakunwiphat, Tamisha Guy, Kimberly Bartosik, Rachel Harris, and Danielle Diniz. She was a 2025 recipient of the Carmel Dance Festival Fellowship. Beatrice has choreographed works for the concert dance stage and for the exhibit at the Museum of Arts and Design, Saya Woolfalk: Empathic Universe. She is the writer, co-choreographer, and co-producer of In, Out, and Around. Beatrice likes to write, read, sing, cook, go to the park, and swim in the ocean.

MOVE WITH US: A FIELD TRIP WITH CLYMENE ♦️

As part of our Season VII Guest Cohort, we spent a day together exploring New York through movement, observation, conversation, and play.

This isn’t about learning choreography.

It’s about learning how to see.

We moved through sites together—watching people, architecture, rhythm, stillness, interruption, proximity, sound and space.

We noticed what our bodies do when the “studio” disappears.

We improvise.
We make tiny pieces.
We talk.
We laugh.
We probably get a little weird.

And somewhere along the way, we learn more about one another.

Because becoming a CLYMover isn’t only about how you dance.

It’s about curiosity. Presence. Generosity. Individuality. The willingness to play, investigate, connect—and bring your whole artistic self into the room.

No mirrors. No front. No perfect answer.

Just New York City, our bodies, and each other.
