As a survivor thank G-d, I was deeply moved by the feeling of connection & support, and the way women showed up at our Loaves of Love.

From cocktails and nibbles to the VIP Power Hour and packing care packages for women going through treatment, the evening was filled with purpose and impact.

A highlight was a critical fireside chat with previvor, survivor and author Gila Pfeffer and board certified medical oncologist and author Eleonora Teplinsky, MD | Cancer Doctor. We also had the pleasure of a fascinating conversation with Stacy Lilien president of LoveShackFancy 🎀 about the journey to building a global brand, the challenges behind it, and the meaningful collaborations along the way.

The entire room was filled with such beautiful energy. Being surrounded by friends who supported me through my personal cancer journey ( ), and joining more than 100 women in prayer for healing for all the women in our lives, was especially meaningful.

For me, Loaves of Love is deeply personal. As a breast cancer survivor thank G-d, I know how quickly life can change with a diagnosis. I also know the extraordinary difference it makes when women show up for one another.

The phone calls. The meals. The small gestures. The friendships. The people who somehow know what you need, even when you don't know how to ask.

Going through breast cancer changes the way you understand strength, vulnerability, gratitude, and community. And it reminds you that none of us should have to navigate life's most difficult moments alone.

Through BATSHEVA, I've seen firsthand what happens when women come together. We share ideas, create opportunities, open doors, build friendships, and lift one another.
Loaves of Love brings those two parts of my life together. My personal journey as a survivor and my passion for bringing women together to create lasting impact.

My hope is that every woman leaves this evening feeling more informed about her health, more connected to her community, and more empowered to show up for herself and for others.
Because sometimes the greatest gift we can give another woman is simply being there.

Three years.
There is a deep line in all of our lives.
Before October 7. And after.
First came the shock.The pain.The grief.The fear.
And then, even in the unimaginable darkness, we witnessed something extraordinary.
Unity.
An outpouring of love.
Prayer.
Action.
There is one conversation that stands out so clearly in my mind.

I was speaking with a female CEO, a powerful leader who said to me with such pain and confusion,
“I don't know how to show up.”
What could she say? What could she share? Who understood what she was feeling? What was her responsibility to her employees?

And I couldn't stop thinking about that conversation.

Because how many women were feeling exactly the same thing?

In that moment, I knew we needed to do something big.

We needed to create a room where Jewish women didn't have to wonder whether they could speak.
A room where we could exhale.
Where we could stand together.
Where our grief could coexist with our strength.
Where we could raise our voices with courage and Jewish pride and say, without hesitation,
Am Yisrael Chai.

And so, only months after October 7, more than 1,000 women came together at .nyc for BATSHEVA'S Empowered Voices United Hearts.

We honored the women who chose not to be silent at a time of deafening silence.

Women who spoke when speaking carried a cost.

Who used their platforms to advocate, educate and share the truth.

We will never forget hearing May and Shani Yerushalmi sharing about their beautiful sister Eden, who had been taken hostage from the Nova festival.
We prayed with them.
We cried with them.
We held onto hope with them.
Months later, we shed so many tears when we lost the beautiful six.

I think about that room often.
The energy. The unity.
But more than anything, I remember the exhale.
The feeling of looking around and realizing,
I am not alone.
We are not alone.
One people. One heart.

Today, three years later, we hold so much.

The grief.
The people we have lost.
The hostages and their families.

Against the breathtaking Manhattan skyline, with the sunset casting its glow across the room, we had the privilege of hearing from an exceptional panel of industry leaders: Tracy Margolies , President of Bergdorf Goodman; Alexandra Winokur , Deputy CEO of LVMH North America; and Zoë Elizabeth VP of Marketing, Brand Engagement & Strategic Projects at L’Oréal USA.
They took us behind the polished success stories and into the pivotal career moments, leadership, creativity, navigating challenges, recognizing opportunity, and staying true to your values.
Their conversation gave us more than inspiration. They gifted us with practical tools, fresh perspective, and insights we could bring directly into our own careers and businesses.
And then there were the women in the room: leaders, founders, executives, creatives and professionals from fashion and across the spectrum of industries, each bringing her own expertise, questions and connections.
From our intimate VIP Power Hour through the panel and the conversations that followed, there was an incredible exchange of ideas and connections.
There is something powerful that happens when women come into a room not only asking, “What can I gain?” but “What can I give?”
Looking through these photos, you can feel it again. The pulse of our incredible city, the sunset, the delicious nibbles, the thoughtful conversations and that unmistakable energy when women show up ready to learn, share and connect.

25 years.
And for so many of us, we still remember exactly where we were.
The moment we heard.
The shock. The confusion. The disbelief.
The unimaginable pain and grief.
But we also remember what came next.
We remember the unity. The courage. The extraordinary self-sacrifice. We remember heroes running toward danger to save people they had never met. We remember neighbors caring for neighbors, strangers searching for missing loved ones , and a city reminded, in the darkest of moments, of just how much light human beings are capable of bringing into this world.

Twenty-five years later, those memories feel especially poignant as we stand on the threshold of Rosh Hashanah and prepare to welcome a new year.

Kabbalah teaches that Rosh Hashanah is not simply the beginning of another year. A completely new energy enters the world. An energy that has never existed before and will never exist in exactly this way again.

What an extraordinary gift.
New energy.
New possibility.
New potential.

The question for each of us is: What will we do with it?

How will we allow this new energy to shape who we become? How will we use it not only to better ourselves, but to better the world around us?
Because the light we receive is never meant to stop with us.
May we take the lessons of courage, unity, compassion and self-sacrifice that emerged from one of our darkest days and carry them forward. May we choose, again and again, to bring more goodness into our homes, our communities and our world.
And may this new year give each of us the strength and opportunity to make our unique impact.

I look back at these photos, and I'm reminded of what made this evening so special. The setting sun over the city, the warmth in the room, and the generosity of women willing to share their wisdom so openly.
