Today is International Friendship Day, and it feels especially meaningful for us.

Earlier this week, we shared that Fly Again Foundation is powered entirely by volunteers. There isn't an office full of employees behind the scenes, just a group of friends, family, and supporters who give their time because they believe in this mission.

We do this in remembrance of our friend Lisa, whose love for adventure and unwavering spirit inspired Fly Again Foundation. Along the way, we've been lucky enough to build friendships with incredible volunteers, recipients, donors, and supporters who have become part of our extended family.

This little organization exists because people continue to show up for one another with their time, their talents, their generosity, and their hearts.

To every friendship that has helped us give flight to the fight... Thank You. 💜

🚨 Calling all fundraisers, party planners, community builders, and people who just love a good excuse to do some good. 💜✈️

Did you know the Fly Again Foundation is 100% volunteer-led?

That means every Dream Vacation we grant is made possible because people like YOU decide to get involved. There isn't a big fundraising department behind the scenes, it's friends hosting happy hours, businesses donating a percentage of sales, coworkers organizing raffles, families collecting birthday donations, and supporters saying, "I can help."

The best part? You don't have to figure it out alone.

Whether you want to host a fundraiser at your favorite restaurant, organize a pickleball tournament, ask your company to sponsor an event, collect raffle prizes, or come up with something completely unique, we'll help you every step of the way. We'll provide ideas, graphics, social media posts, and support so you can focus on having fun while making a difference.

Every fundraiser, big or small, helps us send a young adult with breast cancer on a Dream Vacation they will never forget. 💜

We know Taylor and Travis had everyone talking after their big party at MSG this weekend. 🤭

But here's the thing...

Not everyone's Travis is a boyfriend.

Sometimes it's your mom.
Sometimes it's your sister.
Sometimes it's your best friend.
Sometimes it's your spouse.
Sometimes it's the person who sat through every chemo appointment with you.

At Fly Again Foundation, every Dream Vacation includes a companion of the recipient's choice because no one should have to celebrate, heal, or navigate breast cancer alone.

Everyone deserves someone who says, "I've got you."

Some people dream about scaling skyscrapers. We dream about making cancer suck a little less. 💜

At Fly Again Foundation, we believe young adults with breast cancer deserve more than appointments, treatments, and endless uncertainty. They deserve something to look forward to.

That's why we grant fully funded Dream Vacations for young adults with breast cancer and a companion of their choice. A space to rest, celebrate, reconnect, and simply feel like themselves again.

Because everyone deserves the chance to be seen, understood, and reminded they're so much more than a diagnosis.

We're not just planning vacations. We're giving flight to the fight. 💜✈️

🇫🇷✨ Dream Vacation Spotlight: Chastain's French Adventure ✨🇫🇷

Chastain's trip to France was everything a Dream Vacation should be. She enjoyed dinner with a view of the Eiffel Tower, spent an unforgettable evening at the Moulin Rouge, wandered through the vibrant Cours Saleya Market in Nice, rolled up her sleeves for a French cooking class, and shared an incredible meal made with fresh local ingredients.

Of course, some of the best memories can't always be found on an itinerary. They happen while wandering charming streets, discovering hidden cafés, taking in breathtaking views, and simply having the freedom to explore two of the world's most beautiful cities.

This is what a Dream Vacation is all about, not just seeing new places, but creating joy, making memories, and finding moments of peace after everything cancer has taken.

A heartfelt thank you to Nicole Gilbert for designing such an incredible itinerary and helping make dreams like Chastain's come true. 💜

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day of remembrance, celebration, and reflection.

As we celebrate freedom and the resilience of the Black community, we also recognize the importance of health equity. Black women face disproportionate breast cancer mortality rates and are more likely to be diagnosed with more aggressive forms of Breast Cancer.

Every person deserves access to timely care, early detection, and a healthcare system that listens.

This Juneteenth, we encourage our community to learn, listen, and advocate for a future where everyone is heard, believed, and given equitable access to healthcare. Because where you live, what you look like, how old you are, or the color of your skin should never determine your health outcomes.

🏀💙 NEW YORK, THIS ONE'S FOR YOU! 💙🏀

Our namesake, Lisa Marzullo, was an avid New York Mets fan. And when we say avid, we mean she wore blue and orange every chance she got.

While the Mets always had her heart, we know that during this incredible Knicks championship run, Lisa would have been right there celebrating alongside New Yorkers everywhere (okay, maybe not in San Antonio 😉).

The Knicks have brought a championship back to New York for the first time since 1973. So we're turning this historic moment into something even bigger.

For the next 48 hours, we're asking our community to donate $19.73 in honor of the Knicks' last championship season. Every dollar raised will help us Give Flight to the Fight by funding a Dream Vacation for a young adult battling breast cancer.

Let's celebrate New York's victory by helping someone soar above cancer and toward the trip of their dreams. ✈️
