Celebrating 50 years of the Space Shuttle Enterprise with the Intrepid!

Empire Space was proud to join the celebration at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on September 17th honoring the legacy of Enterprise and the people who helped shape the future of space exploration.

A special thank you to Peggy Wilson and James Baldwin for being part of this incredible celebration and helping commemorate such an important piece of space history.

Here’s to 50 years of Enterprise and the continued inspiration it provides for the next generation of space leaders!

The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is officially on its way!

Set for a three-month journey, NASA’s Roman Space Telescope will help scientists better understand our universe, including dark energy, dark matter, and the formation of galaxies.

There’s also a strong Rochester connection. Wendy Minotti and Peter Miller of L3Harris recently discussed the company’s role in the mission and how Rochester’s world-class optics, photonics, imaging, and laser technology ecosystem is helping make it possible.

Rochester continues to make its mark on the future of space exploration!

Empire Space was honored to visit the New York State Legislature in Albany to discuss the power and potential of New York’s space ecosystem!

At the invitation of Assemblymember Clyde Vanel, we addressed the New York Legislative Aviation Caucus alongside our partners from the Intrepid Museum, Lockheed Martin, and AISolutions Ltd., highlighting New York’s ties to and and telling the story of how the Empire State has shaped the Space Age from Apollo to today. Thank you to Assemblymember Donna Lupardo, Chairman Steven Otis, and Senator John Liu for joining the conversation!

We are also honored to be recognized on the floor of the New York State Assembly by Assemblymember Vanel. This marks a new, high visibility moment for New York’s space ecosystem, drawing interest and attention to the amazing space sector work happening every day from Buffalo to Plattsburgh and all the way down through NYC out to the tip of Long Island!

New York *is* a Space State. We always have been, we are today, and we always will be!
