Youth Empowerment Project - YEP www.youthempowermentproject.org It was the first program of its kind in the state of Louisiana.

Youth Empowerment Project was founded in 2004 by three juvenile justice advocates to support formerly incarcerated young people as they transitioned back into their communities. Since then, YEP has expanded to engage young people who live in poverty, are out of school or work, or have experienced trauma. Today, we provide mentoring and youth advocacy, adult education and high school equivalency pr

The Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) is seeking two Part-Time Adult Education Instructors to support our High School Equivalency (HiSET) program for adult learners in New Orleans.

If you’re passionate about teaching, empowering adult learners, and helping students reach their educational goals, we’d love to hear from you. These part-time positions offer flexible daytime and/or evening schedules and the opportunity to make a direct impact through education.
Priority application deadline: June 26, 2026.
