A big thank you to Dr. Patricia Malone Smith, Urban League of Middle Tennessee Director of Corporate Relations for moderating our Powerhouse Conversations panel discussion yesterday around civic engagement in Music city.

Scarritt Bennett was a part of the National Urban League 2026 Conference on their big 'give back' day Saturday August 1st when families across the region filled a football field sized hall for back to school supplies, basket ball free throw contests, legal and medical support, networking and a lot of fun.

It was old home week for us.

Our festivities begin at 11:30 am in historic Susie Gray Dining Hall where we will enjoy Community Lunch and a short program that includes greetings, music and a special reflection from our Executive Director Rev. Dr. Sondrea Tolbert.

We’ll see you at Susie Gray Dining Hall at 11:30 am on August 21st.

Community Lunch is discounted to $10.00 for Seniors, $15 for the rest of us, and you may pay when you arrive.

Parking is free in either lot A or B. To be close, please park in Parking Lot B!
