“I was taking cuttings from the Garden's plumeria collection when my coworkers and I found a native tree frog sleeping in one of the flowers. He opened his sleepy eyes but didn't seem to mind at all that we were all watching him. It is always encouraging to see native wildlife,” shares Sara Chism, Lab & Nursery Propagation Associate.

Blooming at Work is a juried exhibition featuring artwork created by Garden team members across Conservation, Education, Finance, Horticulture, Natural Resources, and Operations—showcasing the creativity inspired by the landscapes they help care for every day. 🎨✨

Together, the exhibiting artists have spent more than 83 years shaping the Garden’s living canvas. 🌿
