to an incredible partnership between Bayshore Arts District, Fifth Third Bank, and The Glitter Foundation!
During the summer of 2024, together we brought arts programming to the children attending the Lighthouse of Collier summer camp, providing creative opportunities, confidence-building experiences, and a chance for young artists to express themselves through art.
The following season, Fifth Third Bank in the Bayshore Arts District generously hosted an art exhibition celebrating the talents of artists who are legally blind. The gallery showcased inspiring artwork while creating greater awareness, inclusion, and appreciation for the incredible creativity within our community.
One of the most rewarding parts of these programs was seeing the smiles on the parents’ faces as they watched their children proudly display their artwork. Providing students with a professional venue to showcase their talents can be a life-changing experience, building confidence, creating lasting memories, and reminding them that their creativity matters.
These opportunities were made possible through the generous support of The Glitter Foundation, whose funding helped ensure that art remained accessible to students who may not otherwise have had the chance to participate.
We are grateful to our partners and supporters who continue to help make the arts accessible to everyone. These programs remind us that art has the power to inspire, connect, and transform lives. 🎨💙
