Meet The Gentlemen's Circle.
For three years I've been quietly building this with the Bayshore Education Center. Today I get to share it with you.
Here's what keeps me up at night.
So many young men are growing up without a positive father figure. For some, it's an absentee father who isn't there at all. For others, dad is in the home but isn't showing them the way, or is setting the wrong example.
It happens in every community, though some are hit harder than others, with single mothers doing their very best on their own.
But a boy without that guidance misses so much. How to respect his mother. How to treat a woman. How to carry himself, dress for success, and interview for the job he wants.
Without it, too many follow the wrong crowd down a road that ends in their downfall, or in the legal system. And once they're in, it can become a lifetime struggle.
The Gentlemen's Circle is here to change that.
We're building a mentorship movement for young men in grades 5 through 12 in Naples. We partner with local organizations and professionals from all backgrounds to show these young men what's possible.
We show them the door. We tell them they belong in the room. And we stay with them, even 90 days past graduation, so no one falls through the cracks.
Like the military says, we don't leave anyone behind. Not one of these young men, not if we can help it.
Our first group begins January 2027. But the work starts now.
