Scott brings more than 20 years of leadership and professional development experience in the golf industry and currently serves as Director of Golf at JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort.

More importantly, Scott is no stranger to Literacy Collier. He has been an enthusiastic supporter of our organization for many years and shares a genuine passion for our mission and the community we serve.

We were so grateful to receive a generous donation from FC Naples in support of Literacy Collier and the work we do throughout our community.

Literacy Collier is proud to announce our 2026 Board leadership!

Mary Colina-Fowler, founder and managing attorney of Colina Law, LLC, will serve as Chair of the Literacy Collier Board of Directors. A former Collier County mathematics teacher, Mary brings a deep commitment to education, community service, and creating opportunities through learning.

Joining her in leadership is Andrew Moore, Esq., partner at Cipriani & Werner, who will serve as Vice Chair. Andrew has been a valued member of our Board since 2025 and has also volunteered as an instructor with both our Children and Parents Reading Together and Workplace Literacy programs.

We are grateful for their leadership and dedication as Literacy Collier continues helping children, families, and adults gain the literacy skills they need to learn, connect, and thrive.

📚 Learning doesn't stop when class ends, it extends into our community!

This week, Ms. Linda and her class took a field trip to the library to discover the many free resources available, learn how to use the library, and receive their very own library cards. 🎉

For many of our adult students, this was their very first library card, a small card that opens up so many opportunities and even more tools to build their English skills and confidence.

We're so proud of our students and the progress they're making every week!
