Fall color is just beginning to show at Muskegon State Park, and there's no better seat for the changing leaves than soaring through the trees on the zip line.

Join us Saturdays and Sundays from 11AM - 5PM for zip lining, wheel luge, archery, rock climbing, Trail Quest, and hiking. Our final day of the season is Sunday, October 25, so come enjoy a fall weekend at the park while the colors are changing.

🎉 103 YEARS YOUNG AND STILL CHECKING OFF THE BUCKET LIST! 🌲

Who says adventure has an age limit?! Not this crew! ❤️

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming residents from StoryPoint Living to Muskegon Luge for an unforgettable day of zip lining!

Meet some of our newest adventurers:

🎉 Bob – 103 years young!

🎉 Phyllis – 99 years young!

🎉 Nancy – 94 years young!

🎉 Betty – 91 years young!

And the rest of this incredible group? All over 80 years old!

For many, this was their first time ever flying through the trees on a zip line. And they reminded us of something pretty special:

You’re never too old to try something new, face a fear, or check another adventure off your bucket list.

The smiles, laughter, courage, and excitement we witnessed were absolutely priceless. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.

A huge THANK YOU to StoryPoint Living for bringing this amazing group out to experience Muskegon Luge. You inspired our entire team, and we hope you left with some incredible memories!

✨🔥 There’s something special about a night in the Fire Garden!

Our last Bonfire Night brought hundreds of people together for an incredible evening under the lights, and we’re getting ready to do it all again!

Join us Saturday, October 24th, for another unforgettable fall evening at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park. 🍂

Here’s what’s happening:

🌲 Zipline After Hours – An additional zipline session kicks off at 5:00 PM!

🥾 Guided Hike to Lost Lake – Join our staff for a FREE guided hike through the beautiful fall forest to one of Muskegon State Park’s hidden gems.

🎶 Live Music – Enjoy an evening in the Fire Garden with Loren Kranz & Friends!

🍺 Special B**r Release – Our friends at Pigeon Hill Brewing Company are bringing back Luge State L***r!

🍎 Fall Treats – Fresh fritters and c***r donuts from Ryke’s Bakery!

✨ Hike the Lights – Explore our illuminated forest trails until 10 PM. Free and open to everyone!

There’s nothing quite like crisp fall air, good music, warm lights, and a community coming together in the woods.

We’re excited to introduce our new RightHear trail navigation system, designed to help hikers who are blind or visually impaired navigate our accessible trail with greater confidence and independence. RightHear provides important navigation information along the trail, helping visitors better understand where they are, what is around them, and where they are headed.

This project was made possible through the generous support of the Muskegon County Lions Advisory Fund at the Community Foundation for Muskegon County, which funded the Northside Lions Trail Project. We are incredibly grateful for their continued commitment to making outdoor recreation more accessible in our community.

A special thank you to Lions members John VanWyck, John Metz, and Brian Werschem for their dedication to this project, and to our staff members Jagger Reynolds, Casey Grimm, and Sky Chamberlain, who worked through the installation, setup, and testing of the system to help bring it to life.

Projects like this are an important part of our commitment to creating outdoor experiences where people of all abilities can explore, participate, and enjoy the park.

We can’t wait for visitors to experience it! 🌲🥾

A whole season of winter adventures, together. ❄️

The Muskegon Luge Winter Family Season Pass includes skiing, skating and snowshoeing every day of the season, plus early weekend access and a Bring a Friend day pass.

The pass covers up to six people in one immediate household. Add rental equipment for $75 per pass.

As the sun sets earlier, the trails don’t have to be the end of your day. 🌙

Hike the Lights is a free fall tradition at Muskegon Luge. From dusk until 10 PM, we light the White Night Trail, Pete’s Path and Lost Lake Trail, giving you a place to hike, run or walk your dog after dark. The lights are on beginning in October until the first snowfall, when the trails are prepared for cross-country skiing.

Bring a friend, enjoy the evening air and see the trails in a different light. Dogs are welcome on a 6-foot leash.

The first time your kid finds their balance on skis. The walk through the woods that turns into a favorite winter memory.

Getting kids outside doesn’t have to be a one-day occasion. A Winter Family Season Pass gives your household a reason to come back and ski, skate, and snowshoe together all season long.
