Our Summer Day Camp is the perfect way for 5th–8th graders to get outside, try something new, and experience the best of Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park.

Campers will spend two action-packed days doing:

🎯 Archery
🧗 Rock climbing
🛷 Luge
🌲 Ziplining
🥾 Hiking
🔥 Bonfire lunch on Day 2

⏰ 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
💵 $160 per camper
👥 Limited to 30 campers

🌲 Become a Dune Explorer!

We’re excited to launch our brand-new Dune Explorer Program at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park! This free outdoor adventure is designed for kids ages 5 and up to explore the park, discover local nature and wildlife, and take on fun challenges along the way.

Getting started is easy:
Stop by the lodge, pick up a Dune Explorer packet, and complete the activities as you explore the park with your family.

Complete 4 out of 12 challenges, then return to the lodge to officially become a true Dune Explorer and receive your very own Dune Explorer wristband!

This program is completely FREE and a great way to get kids outside, curious, and connected with the dunes, trails, and wildlife around them.

Get ready for 2 full days of outdoor adventure at Muskegon Luge! This camp is designed for 5th–8th graders who are ready for an adventure and to make awesome summer memories.

Join us on Tuesday, June 9 from 1:00–7:00 PM for a free Summer Accessibility Open House designed for people with disabilities, families, caregivers, and community partners.

Guests will have the opportunity to try adapted outdoor adventure activities, including:

Zipline
Wheel luge
Archery
Rock climbing
Hiking

All skill levels are welcome. Whether you are trying something new, exploring accessible recreation options, or supporting someone who loves outdoor adventure, we would love to have you join us.

🌿 Outdoor education in action! 🎣🥾

Yesterday, Reeths-Puffer 2nd graders spent the day learning, exploring, and playing at Snug Harbor.

Students went fishing, hiked the trails, looked for signs of wildlife, played games, and experienced how much there is to discover when the classroom moves outside. From pointing out tracks in the dirt to gathering near Muskegon Lake, the day was filled with curiosity, teamwork, and hands-on learning.

We love seeing students connect with nature, ask questions, and build confidence outdoors. These are the kinds of experiences that help kids understand, appreciate, and care for the parks and natural spaces right here in our community.

Big thanks to the teachers, parents, and everyone who helped make this outdoor adventure possible!

🌲 New at Muskegon Luge: The Interpretive Trail is open! 🌲

Looking for a simple way to get outside, move your body, and learn something new along the way?

Come explore our brand new 1-mile interpretive trail at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park.

As you walk through the woods, you’ll find educational signs highlighting the plants, wildlife, forest systems, and natural history that make this place special — from white pine and wintergreen to animal tracks, lichens, tree rings, and more.

This is a great free activity for families, school groups, nature lovers, or anyone looking for a peaceful walk through the woods.

Everyone’s invited to enjoy Muskegon County. It’s vital that outdoor fun is accessible to all. Experience adaptive ziplining, luge, and hiking at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park, and enjoy ADA-compliant kayak launches at Black Lake Park. With ADA-accessible beach mats at Harbour Towne Beach, Muskegon State Park, PJ Hoffmaster State Park, and Pere Marquette Beach, plus free adaptive equipment like Mobi-Chairs and Action Trackchairs, beach days are also more inclusive than ever. See you this summer in the Michigan Beachtowns!
