Clinton Scouts Family Troop 1142 We're a Scouting America BSA Family Troop 1142 of Clinton, Il., aka Troop 142, we have been around since the 1940s.

We work with youth ages 11 to 17, both boys and girls, to help them become our nations future leaders and good citizens.

As our Scouts prepare to head back to school they wanted to throw a final pool party for the summer and we headed to Farmer City Pool to do just that! I think they enjoyed themselves!

Our family troop headed out to Tesomas Scout Camp early this past Sunday! A total of 23 of us -- with 17 Scouts -- headed up to Rhinelander, Wisconsin, for a week of camping fun and adventure at one of the premier Scout camps in the Midwest, marking its 90th year of helping Scouts grow into the leaders and movers of the next generation!

The Order of the Arrow is the national honor society of scouting, and becoming a member means a commitment to Scout values and cheerful service!
