Flyin’ Heroes is 501 (c) 3 Non Profit organization that utilizes the sport of fly fishing to promote the therapeutic growth and rehabilitation of U.S.
(1)

military veterans. Participants of Flyin’ Heroes will experience a unique guided float trip down the Pere Marquette River, Muskegon River and or the White River located in West Michigan. Each participant will be instructed on the basic techniques of fly and/or spinner fishing for trout and other game species. The fishing trips will range from 4-6 hours long and will incorporate a streamside prepared lunch provided by Flyin’ Heroes. All necessary fishing tackle, rods, and waders will, also be provided by Flyin’ Heroes. Fishing related activities will be held from within a drift boat, on a riverbank, or physically wading into the river depending on the comfort level of each participant. The event is free to all U.S.

Getting geared up for a great couple of days on the Muskegon and Pere Marquette Rivers! The program is looking forward to chasing browns and steelhead, while enjoying everything these beautiful rivers have to offer. Most importantly, sharing the mission along the way!

It’s about so much more than the fish. It’s about fostering relationships, building friendships, sharing stories, and finding fellowship on the river. Every trip is another opportunity to connect, create memories, and experience the healing power of time on the water.

Here’s to tight lines, good company, and another couple of unforgettable days on the river!

🇺🇸 25 Years Later — We Remember. We Honor. We Stand Together.

September 11, 2001 changed our country forever. We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the incredible sacrifices made by ordinary people who ran toward danger when others were running away.

Over the past 25 years, the tragedy of 9/11 has also reminded us of something powerful. When our nation is tested, we can come together. It strengthened our appreciation for service, sacrifice, community, and the people willing to put others before themselves.

Today, we proudly stand alongside all past and present military members and first responders who have and continue to answer the call.

We will never forget those we lost.
We will always honor those who served.
And we will continue to stand together for the values that make our country strong.
