Kappa Delta at Murray State University Kappa Delta, Delta Iota chapter was re-established in Fall 2013! The Delta Iota chapter of Kappa Delta is proud to have 135 members.

Kappa Delta Sorority is committed to providing opportunities and experiences that inspire women to greatness. Through our confidence platform and philanthropic endeavors, we help women make great things happen—on campus, in the community and in their own lives! Founded by four visionary women on October 23, 1897, the sorority has grown to nearly 230,000 members, with 151 active collegiate chapters

This Friday we are doing a WHY KD!
Here is a letter from Izzy PC ‘24

“Before joining Kappa Delta, I was unsure of Greek Life. I was scared that I wouldn’t be able to foster any authentic connections because I didn’t see myself as the typical sorority member. However, during my recruitment | spoke to so many girls who were nothing like me on paper, and I was able to connect and relate to almost all of them. Each girl I spoke to talked to me like she wanted to be my best friend, and genuinely seemed open to getting to know me and my values. Every Kappa Delta spoke so highly of their fellow sisters and how the chapter had grown their confidence and held them accountable, and that was exactly what I wanted in a sisterhood. Since joining Kappa Delta, many of the girls I once thought I would have nothing in common with have become my best friends! The support of my sisters has given me the confidence to be more involved on campus, step into leadership roles and be the most authentic version of myself.”
