Update on our Foster Closet building-
After I posted the other night that we were going to have to move our things into storage, the new owner of our building contacted me and let me know she was interested in keeping us as tenants if we could work out a lease that was agreeable to both of us.
Fast forward to today, and we have signed a lease to stay in our current building for the next year. But we will now be paying rent and utilities, so we will need to work on securing sponsorships and donations to cover those new costs.

Working on an update to this post! Thank you much to everyone that has sent a message or offered assistance of any type, some I have not even had time to answer yet! The last 24 hours have been very busy.

I have made the decision to move the stuff from the foster closet into storage for the summer, as I haven’t been able to find a place to move the closet to, unless we are able to pay rent and utilities for ourselves.

I will be looking for a person who can help us with fundraising and speaking to businesses and churches to get our rent sponsored. If you are a person that has skills in this area and would be willing to help us, please message us here or call me at 270-978-1968.

I am planning to get our stuff back into a building and back open for business in September. I will be looking for a space between 1,000-2,000 sq ft in Calloway county with availability starting in August.

The Foster Closet is looking for a new home! Our building is being sold and we need a new space to use. We need to be out by June 1st.

Please spread the word and message us if you know of a space that we could use.

Foster parents and kinship families- we will be open tomorrow, Sunday, May 3rd, from 1-4 PM for shopping. Come and get spring and summer things for the kids!

Open shopping hours for the foster closet will be postponed to next Sunday February 8th, due to snow still being so many places, including our parking lot. If anyone has an urgent need, please message us here and we will make arrangements for an appointment.

We are honored to present Partners in Care Foster Closet with $500 for its participation in our Perkins Motor Plex Half-Court Shot for Charity!

Located at 608 B Main Street in Murray, Partners in Care Foster Closet is a store that allows foster parents or kinship families to shop for children in their care at no cost. It offers clothing, infant supplies, twin beds and cribs, car seats, and more.

The Foster Closet open shopping hours for January will be on SATURDAY January 3rd from 1:00-4:00pm instead of Sunday the 4th.

As always, if you are needing to shop for a child and cannot make it during these hours, please send us a message and we can make an appointment for another time.
