It informs, encourages, challenges, and guides communities. But the Christian music industry does not overtly reward good art. Thus Christian songwriters are faced with a dilemma: Do we write the deepest and most artistically rich songs full of honesty and authenticy (for a niche audience with likely little financial return), or do we write songs for the masses that are more palatable with "today'

s" trendy production sounds (with the hope for radio play, a wider audience, and bigger album sales)? Most of the "systems" in place really only reward the latter, and we think that's a crying shame. We want to let artists making high-quality, non-cliche, authentic music know that they have someone in their corner. We want the audience that is hungry for these types of songs to know that they now have a music curator looking to share with them faith-informed music full of artistic depth.
