Tennessee Quarter Horse Association Founded in 1963, the Tennessee Quarter Horse Association was formed to preserve, protect and promote the breed. Today, we do all that, and much more.

Ride a trail, jump a fence, turn a steer, show off a lope, but most importantly do it all on an American Quarter Horse in Tennessee! Welcome to the Tennessee Quarter Horse Association where American Quarter Horse devotees stand proud beside their equine friends and enjoy a lifestyle of fun and inspiring adventure. TQHA offers a wide variety of opportunities for horse owners, exhibitors, and beginners to learn, show, share and ride their American Quarter Horse. We invite you to peruse through the site and discover all of the ways you can enjoy the RIDE!

👀 TQHA members—it’s time to check those points!

Year-End Points have been updated through the TQHA Fall Circuit, and with only one show remaining in Alabama later this month, we need your eagle eyes!

Please take a few minutes to check your points ASAP. With lots of horses, exhibitors and classes to keep up with, mistakes can happen—a misspelled name, a placing that didn’t get recorded or maybe you’re missing from a new class altogether.

If you spot anything that doesn’t look right, please email Judy directly at [email protected] so she can take a look.

🏆 One more chance to earn points:
Rainsville, Alabama | October 24–25

Check those points, make sure everything looks right, and let’s finish the year strong! 💪🐴

Horse showing burns calories. We don’t make the rules. 🍔😂

A HUGE thank you to Tennessee Equine Hospital and the TQHA Amateur Association for rolling in with Five Guys burgers for lunch at the TQHA Fall Circuit!

Because nothing says “I’m ready for my next class” quite like a burger, fries and absolutely no regrets!

Thank you for keeping everyone fueled and making show day a whole lot more delicious!

A little extra money and some pretty great hardware made Showmanship, Horsemanship and Hunt Seat Equitation even more fun at the TQHA Fall Circuit! 🏆

Thanks to the generous support of First Thingz First and Katie Van Slyke, each of these divisions featured $500 in added money AND a trophy buckle for the winner.

We’re so grateful for sponsors who continue to step up and help us add opportunities and incentives for our exhibitors. It makes a difference — and it makes winning just a little sweeter!

A big thank you to First Thingz First and Katie Van Slyke for making this possible, and congratulations to our winners! 💙

$500 added + a trophy buckle in each division. Not a bad weekend in Tennessee! 🙌

Congratulations to everyone who competed, and thank you for continuing to support TQHA!
