📣 We’re Hiring! Administrative Assistant

Do you have a heart for ministry, adoption, and serving families? Together As One is looking for a motivated Administrative Assistant to help support our growing mission!

We’re looking for someone who:
✅ Is experienced with Canva and Wix
✅ Is social media savvy and comfortable creating engaging content
✅ Is organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
✅ Is willing to attend and support community events and fundraisers
✅ Has a passion for adoption and sharing the gospel!

This role may offer flexibility, and work location requirements will be discussed during the interview process. We encourage anyone to apply even if you aren’t in Murfreesboro, TN! There is a possibility for this job to be a remote position.

Compensation will be discussed during interviews.

We are extremely excited to introduce to you all Chantelle and Jeff Watson!

Chantelle and Jeff’s journey toward parenthood has been a testament to resilience and unwavering faith. For eleven years, they navigated the quiet, often painful struggle of infertility, a decade marked by both hope and heartbreak. Yet, through the years of waiting, their perspective underwent a profound transformation. They began to see that their path was not being diverted, but rather directed. Today, they view adoption not as a backup plan or a secondary option, but as the beautiful, intentional destiny God has had in motion for their family since the very beginning.

Our team has awarded them with a $5,000 grant and any additional support and prayer would mean a lot to this amazing couple 💙

My adoption story is a bit messy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I was adopted from Seoul, South Korea when I was 4 months old. Growing up, I always felt disconnected from my family and always wondered who my real family was. For a long time, I searched for answers – whether it was birth records or otherwise – and would often talk to God about where I belonged. After a long time wrestling in my spirit and with God, I came to the realization that my identity did not lie with those who bore me but with a God who loves me more than anyone else ever could. My adoption story is complicated and has influenced my research as a student and theologian, but I will say confidently that I am grateful for the gift that it was and is to me.

Ephesians tells us that even before the world was made, Christ chose us! He adopted us as His dearly beloved children. All of us who follow Jesus, whether or not we were adopted in this physical world, are adopted into a divine family. What a life-changing gift. Take some time to reflect with gratitude on this today.

Adoption discipleship program

This is our four week course that takes a team dive into prayer, fasting, community and scripture and how that applies to your adoption process. Although this is not mandatory, we highly encourage each and every single one of our families to go through this program. Often times when we go through things in life, we forget how important it is to go to our heavenly father about what we are doing. Our hope is that this four week course helps encourage families to invite God into the entire process of adopting from start to finish!

Psalm 139:13-14

Our value is not based on anything here on earth! It is based entirely on God’s love for us and the fact that we are His children, “fearfully and wonderfully made.” He loves us so much that He sacrificed His own Son on the cross to forgive our sins and bring us into perfect unity with Him. He created each of us intentionally, uniquely, and with infinite, eternal love. We must choose to see ourselves and others through the lens that God looks at us through. Our purpose, identity, and worth is solid and secure because it is not dependent on our own striving, but on God’s finished work on the cross.

As we reflect on our first year as Together As One and move into the new year, we feel exceedingly BLESSED by all the ways God has guided us to amazing families in need and grown our ministry! Truly, none of this would be possible without the help of our passionate, committed staff and our generous & prayerful donors!
