One last thing before we take our annual break! We have to announce the winners of our awards!

This year's Veronica Paige Velour Award goes to Eric Hughes for his amazing work with the community and The Lavender Closet Project!

This year's Missy Lay Ally Award goes to Chris Warren. Chris has driven our parking shuttle since we began our annual celebration in 2024. He has also risked his church so that our community has a safe place to gather!

Congratulations to both of our winners. These were well-deserved and we are honored to give you these awards! Thank you for all you do!

This Saturday! And when you get back, head over to Cedar Glade Brews for the Pride After Dark show with Veronica Paige Velour!

Pride Day at the Zoo returns on Saturday, June 20! Join us as we celebrate love and family in all of their forms across the animal kingdom.

From 9 am to 2 pm, visit the Unseen New World Plaza to enjoy themed crafts, giveaways (while supplies last) and enjoy live music by Bryan Ruby from 11 am to 1 pm.

Plus, visit with the Nashville chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers to learn more about love in all its forms across the animal kingdom and check out special animal-made crafts available for purchase that support conservation efforts.

Thank you RuCo Community for another AMAZING Pride Celebration. A special thank you to our awesome sponsors and vendors, who worked so well with us to get load out accomplished in record time! The rain held off just long enough and didn't start until our last crew member left Oakland's. We will share more this coming week. For now, we gotta rest!
