Celebrating Kinship Care Month

This month, we honor the grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, family friends, and caring adults who step up when a child needs a safe and loving place to call home.

Kinship caregivers open their hearts, homes, and lives to provide stability, connection, during some of the most difficult moments a family can face.

Dolly once said, “If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.”

At CASA, we believe in showing up for children who need someone in their corner—offering hope, encouragement, and the consistent support that can make all the difference. Dolly’s lifelong example of compassion reminds us that even the smallest act of kindness can bring light to someone’s life.

Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the laughter, the generosity, and the love you gave so freely. Your light will continue to shine through the countless lives you touched. 💗✨

Rest in peace, Dolly. We will always love you. 🤍

Happy National Nonprofit Day!

More than 1,300 dedicated CASA volunteers have donated over 160,000 volunteer hours to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and help ensure their voices are heard.

That’s 160,000+ hours of showing up, speaking up, and making a difference in the lives of children in our community.

This National Nonprofit Day, consider getting involved with CASA. Whether you volunteer, donate, or help spread the word, you can be part of the impact.

It is with profound sadness that our organization mourns the passing of a valued colleague and dedicated member of our team, Caitlin Vasser.

For nearly eight years, she was an important part of our organization, serving as our Manager of Network Services. Through her dedication, expertise, and commitment, she made a lasting impact on our organization and on the many people fortunate enough to work alongside her.

Her knowledge, dedication, and contributions played an important role in the continued success of our organization. She leaves behind a legacy of service and a lasting impact on the colleagues and teams with whom she worked.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones, as well as to the many colleagues whose lives she touched during her years with our organization.

When we invest in young people, we invest in a brighter future.

Every young person deserves to feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. At CASA, we believe that when we show up for young people, we help create a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and potential of youth everywhere — and the advocates, mentors, and communities who stand beside them along the way!
