This sweet bonded pair of cats are a the saying ' Friends are the family you choose' ... Both came from rough circumstances. They came Doodlebug Manor to rest, and let down, and let their purrsonalities bloom!

Ragner survived an attack from a bird of prey with a nasty neck gash. He is vetted to his age and recovered wonderfully. Lagatha suffered loss and lonliness at the loss of her companion and brother from birth.

Together they have formed a wonderful, close, sweet relationship.
They would make a wonderful ' pet set' together and be happy to stay togther.

In 2006 - we incorporated our rescue, and never looked back. Doodlebug Manor Cat Rescue 501c3 has been honored to be saving the lives of cats / kittens in need for a long time, and it's what we've loved every cat we met. 💘

After much careful thought and consideration, we are making a big change ... while we will still be saving rescue cats/kittens, we will work behind the scenes providing safety, love, care, and preparing them for a better future, in a new role as fulltime FOSTERS. 🐈‍⬛ .

We are blessed to work with a wonderful, dedicated rescuer (& group) and to do our favorite part of rescue - the hands-on care, since after all, cats are my people !🥰😺

Thank you all for providing such loving homes to our Doodlebugs over the years ... 🤗.

When you adopt a rescue pet you save two lives, the one you adopt, and the one that takes their place!

THIS IS WHAT LOVE CAN DO💓

Meet beautiful Lagertha - with her huge expressive green eyes, soft fur, and delicate posture. She is as sweet as they come. Where her story started is a mystery, but she was tightly bonded to her brother at the in the rescue cube at the pet store, until he was adopted away, and she shut right down. Quiet, shy, and scared.🐈‍⬛

Ragner is a 6-week-old kitten, found somewhere outside, he had somehow survived a violent attack that left his neck shredded (We suspect a hawk). After surgery to repair it - he came to us for foster. He is a fun, charming & playful kitten. You'd never know he went through anything to see him now.

A little food, safe place to sleep and time to let down has done wonders for them. But mostly - they have healed each other. They are so well suited and bonded. 🌟💖

These sweethearts are vetted and ready to find a loving home together. If you're thinking of adopting - this is the purrrfect pair! 😺😽
