Rachelle Ayers, a 2026 Catalyst graduate, shares, "Going from being on the board of directors at Kymari House to serving as Board Chair, I’ve got so many more tools in my toolbelt to be more effective and impactful in that role. Catalyst has prepared me to make a bigger difference."

Volunteers make a BIG difference at United Way, especially through our VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. We recently held a volunteer appreciation dinner for our VITA volunteers at West End Baptist Church in Fayetteville. The 13 volunteers completed more than 500 hours of service, which contributed to our total $6.1 million in economic impact in our local communities.

Thank you for all that you do to build a thriving community!

A little can go a long way — especially when it's in the right hands. 💛

For just $70, United Way of South Central Tennessee can:
📚 Sponsor 3 children with free books for an entire year
🥦 Provide a full week of nutritious groceries for a family in need
🎒 Send two students into a new school year fully supplied and ready to learn

This year, we're celebrating 70 years of showing up for our neighbors — and we're inviting you to be part of what comes next.
Make a gift of $70 or more to our 70th Anniversary Campaign and help us continue building the kind of community where everyone has a chance to thrive. The future is ours to shape — and we can’t do it without you.
