Shared Space for All exists to provide education to those who live in Isaan, Thailand, regardless of gender, age, or class.

Shared Space for All provides education and opportunity that would not otherwise be available to children in Isaan. We invest in education by providing a physical space for children to learn, and qualified teachers to teach and mentor. Our after-school program for at-risk children utilizes ESL (English as a second language) curriculum. We also provide a computer lab and internet access to build reading, writing, and technological skills.

“I first learned about Shared Space For All when I was in Grade 12. I have been with SSFA for approximately six years. My teacher, Sunantha, introduced me to Teacher Nee’s extra classes, and I started going regularly. I continued learning with her until I entered university.

Shared Space For All gave me the opportunity to continue my education and supported me throughout my journey. Because of their support, I had the chance to study, grow, and look forward to a better future. Their encouragement also gave me confidence to believe in myself and my dreams.

I studied Tourism at university. During my studies, I learned about tourism and hospitality, communication, and working with people from different backgrounds. I also became more confident and learned many things that I can use in my life and career today.

Today, I work as a tour guide at the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT). I meet visitors from many different countries, share the stories of rescued animals, and talk about wildlife conservation. I also use English every day, which helps me continue improving myself.

When I look back at my journey, I realize how much Shared Space For All has meant to me. They gave me an opportunity that helped me move forward in life and believe that I could create a better future for myself.

I am truly grateful to everyone at Shared Space For All for believing in me, supporting me, and being part of my journey. I will always remember the opportunities they gave me and do my best to make them meaningful in my life.”

Fun Friday! October break classes! We learned so many new things today including English, Thai, Math, and Computer and played fun games together. Before heading home, we also enjoyed a 30-minute movie session! 😍😍

How Many Scholarships Can One Piece of Art Create?

There’s still time to make your bid count!

Renowned Seattle public artist Ryan “Henry” Ward and 17-year-old emerging artist Beck Allen created a one-of-a-kind original artwork to support Shared Space For All—and 100% of the auction proceeds will go toward our college scholarship fund.

With $1,000 able to fund one student’s college scholarship for an entire year, this single piece of art has the potential to create real opportunity for our students in Thailand.

Bidding starts at $250.

And if you’ve already seen the auction, please consider sharing it with a friend who loves art and would like to support our students.

Join Us in Thailand to Experience SSFA

Ready to see your support in action? You can join us for 12 days to see SSFA, Bangkok, and the beaches of southern Thailand.

It’s affordable, including all flights and hotels for $4000. We can also help with fundraising - we will build you your own webpage to share with friends and family. And, 75% of your travel cost is tax-deductible!

TWO Thailand Trips Upcoming!
We’re currently planning two ~12-day hosted trips:
March 18–29, 2027
*July 26–August 7, 2027

*Date still being finalized.

The trips will include time volunteering at Shared Space For All, as well as visiting the city of Bangkok and experiencing Thailand’s beautiful beaches. There will also be opportunities for optional adventures like elephant experiences, snorkeling, hiking, golf, zip lining, historical sites, markets, and more.

The heart of these trips is being present—hanging out with the SSFA kids and staff, visiting the village, sharing meals, experiencing Thai culture, and seeing firsthand the work you’ve helped make possible.

We have something pretty special to share with our SSFA community.

Renowned Seattle public artist Ryan “Henry” Ward and 17-year-old emerging artist Beck Allen have created a one-of-a-kind original artwork—and generously donated it to support our students.

This collaboration brings together an established Seattle artist and a young emerging creative. And now their art has the opportunity to create another kind of opportunity.
100% of the auction proceeds will go directly to SSFA’s college scholarship fund.
