NAFCON and FAEW would like to invite the community for a Filipino Town Hall around some of the most pressing issues and concerns during this time as we anticipate the opening of a Philippine Consulate here in Washington state. Thanks to the community’s tireless efforts to fight for our Philippine Consulate to be reinstated in Washington, we are expecting the new Philippine Consulate to open here any moment now. Your voices were crucial in the 2022 petitioning efforts for the Consulate’s return to ensure our growing Filipino community in Washington can access timely support from our home country.

🎉🇵🇭 Tanggol Migrante 1 Year Celebration 🇵🇭🎉

We invite you to join us in celebrating our victories over the past year -- A Year of Unity & Resistance: Celebrating Tanggol Migrante WA in 2025. It has been 1 year since we launched as the Tanggol Migrante Network on February 24, 2025 at the Filipino Community Center. We came together in response to the heightened attacks on migrant communities. Filipino organizations, youth, migrant workers and their families, health advocates, lawyers, student groups, faith leaders, labor unions, and elected officials came together to take up the call to Defend Migrants. With gratitude, we invite everyone who helped make our victories possible to come together in celebration and in building our collective resolve to keep fighting.
