NAFCON WA hosts an in-person watch party for this educational workshop facilitated by Los Angeles Kalusugan Collective ! Learn about neoliberalism in healthcare and how it impacts our fight as Filipinos working in the healthcare field. We’ll discuss what we can do locally to acheive collective action like future community clinics and a health symposium in October.

We are almost half-way through the Summer months here in WA! Here is a recap of some of our activities so far and whats upcoming. From Filipino Heritage Night at the Mariners Game to joining 1,000+ Filipinos at the historic Kalayaan Summit Gathering, it has been great connecting with community members and learning about the most pressing issues Filipinos are facing currently and how we can come together and also celebrate our rich Filipino culture and history.

- Volunteering for the Bayanihan Benefit Night at Island Pacific
- Tabling for Filipino Heritage Night for the Seattle Mariners Game
- Sharing stories of Filipino heros and martyrs and Pagdiriwang in Seattle Center
