Taking a moment today to remember the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting their communities. 💙💙💙💙

May 2026 will mark 20 years since the Washington State Law Enforcement Memorial was dedicated as a place of remembrance, reflection, and honor.

As we approach this milestone, Behind the Badge Foundation will be highlighting the Memorial’s history, the lives it honors, and the impact it has had across our state. Now, we’re inviting you to help us tell this story.

Visit BehindtheBadgeFoundation.org/WSLEM20 to explore the campaign and share a photo, video, or reflection about what the Memorial means to you. Your contribution will honor its legacy and inspire others to remember.

So great to have you both there, Chief and Officer Fabia 💙💙💙💙 thank you for your service and all you do.

So great to have you both there, Chief and Officer Fabia 💙💙💙💙 thank you for your service and all you do.

Chief Illyn and Officer Fabia had the honor of attending the Support 7 “Voices of Courage” Reception and Auction last week.

Support 7 is an incredible organization that has been serving the community for more than 45 years—responding alongside police and fire 24/7 to support victims and families during some of their hardest moments.

We are truly grateful for their chaplains, volunteers, and incident response teams, and for the compassion and comfort they bring when it matters most.

Thank you, Support 7, for all you do.

We thank you Lord for these relationships!

I’m deeply grateful to every guest, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who joined us for this 5th annual Support 7 Reception and Auction -Voices of Courage nearly 400 first responders, business owners, community leaders, elected officials, volunteer friends & family of Support7, and victims and families we’ve served on-scene on April 25~ thank you for believing in the power of compassion in action.

As many of you know, Support 7 has been serving our community for more than 45 years—responding alongside Police and Fire on -scene, 24/7.

Our first responder chaplains respond, on average, 33 to 35 times a month to care for victims and families in the aftermath of unexpected deaths—whether from natural causes, su***de, homicide, overdose, or other tragic events.

Our incident response team also deploys our emergency mobile unit to scenes like house and apartment fires— anytime we have first responders on-scene for long periods of time and we need to get victims and families out of the elements -away from media- so they have a private, safe place to grieve and have interviews with Police, Fire or RED CROSS.

Every call answered, every family supported, every moment of comfort offered during someone’s worst day happens because people like this choose to stand with us.

Their generosity gives strength to the voices that cry out in crisis—and ensures they are met with care, dignity, and HOPE.

**April 25 was not just about an event.
It is about the countless quiet moments when courage shows up:
-in our first responders as they choose to go when everyone else runs away
-in our volunteers who respond, and stand in the gap between tragedy and hope!
- in the families who endure & carry fear but still take a step forward.
-and in a community that refuses to let anyone face tragedy alone. With Gratitude, Shannon Sessions, Support 7 Executive Director ❤️💔❤️‍🩹❤️ If you- or someone you know would like to learn more- whether to be part of this with prayer, possibly a good fit as a volunteer or financial gifts please go to www.support7.org
