June Library Exhibit!

The Arts Advisory Commission has chosen works by Ken VanderPutten for the June art exhibit at the Mountlake Terrace Library. "From my days as a pre-teen with a paper route to my life now as a retired engineer, photography has always been a steady thread. I saved my early earnings to buy camera gear, inspired by my father’s love of taking pictures. I was fascinated by how a single photo could capture a moment and make it last.
Now that I’m retired, I’m enjoying the freedom to travel, and travel photography has become especially fun. I’m drawn to the small, often overlooked details that hold quiet beauty. Through my photos, I hope to share simple, meaningful stories and capture the fleeting moments that make life feel rich."
The library is located at 23300 58th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace.

May Library Exhibit!

The Arts Advisory Commission has chosen works by Bill Ray for the May art exhibit at the Mountlake Terrace Library. Bill Ray's passion for photography began with black and white wet darkroom work as a 1950’s teenager, which later expanded into color nature photography. Ray’s primary artistic goal is for his photographs to reveal the inherent beauty of our world, often capturing wonders beyond our everyday perception. To learn more, visit his website www.BillRayImages.com. The library is located at 23300 58th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace.
