Mt. Vernon, Indiana First UMC is located in the center of Mount Vernon, Indiana. on Sundays.

Founded in 1815 with roots that go back to 1799 and the early Methodist circuits, we're one of the oldest congregations in Indiana. Worship services are at 10:30 a.m. Worship includes hymns with organ and piano and the weekly celebration of Holy Communion. Once monthly, our Praise Team provides music (typically the 3rd Sunday). We offer vibrant ministries including:
• Adult and children’s Sunday School classes
• Opportunities for local, interstate, and international missions
• Susanna Wesley Nursery School (https://www.facebook.com/SusannaWesleyNS)
