Posey County Happy Feet Founded in Union County, Ky, in 2009 with the mission to provide new shoes to students in need so they can better focus on learning.

HFELF has been active in Posey County since 2022 and is an IRS Non-Profit status 501 (c) (3) organization.

👟❤️What a DayHappy Feet Equals Learning Feet in Posey County! ❤️👟

Our Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet shoe distribution wrapped up yesterday just as the last bell rang at Mount Vernon Senior High School, and what an incredible day it was!

We are so blessed and grateful for the many volunteers who came together to make this possible, including amazing individuals from GAF - Roofing,
AstraZeneca, community members, the Mt Vernon Police Department, Mt Vernon Fire Department, Posey County Emergency Management, and Black Township Fire & Rescue.

Together, we helped put hundreds of new shoes on happy students at Marrs Elementary School, Farmersville Elementary School, Mt. Vernon Junior High School, and Mt. Vernon Senior High School. 👟🎉

This is what happens when a community comes together—Happy Feet = Learning Feet!❤️

💙👟 Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet: Day One is in the Books! 👟💙

What an incredible start to our shoe distribution days!

Today, at MSD of North Posey, we provided more than 160 students with a brand-new pair of athletic-style shoes and two pairs of socks each. The total investment in these students was more than $8,600, helping ensure they have comfortable, reliable footwear to support their success both in and out of the classroom.

As we celebrate this amazing day, we want to remind everyone that Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet is funded entirely through grants and community donations. We receive no other funding. Every pair of shoes and socks purchased is made possible by the generosity of individuals, organizations, and grant partners who believe in supporting local children.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who gave their time today. We couldn't do this without you!

We're excited to continue the momentum tomorrow as we visit Marrs Elementary, Farmersville Elementary, and Mount Vernon Junior High/High School. We look forward to helping even more students start the year on the right foot.
