Mount Vernon River Days is right around the corner! September 11th and 12th, the waterfront will light up with activity. We thought we’d join the fun. We’re coming back with our RAKU Glaze and Fire both nights at 5pm. Come glaze a premade piece of pottery and watch us fire it on sight in an interactive firing process. We love the effects from a Raku firing but firing is always more fun with friends.

Not feeling the heat?? We get it. Join us in the studio on Saturday for a gnome making class at noon or a mug making class at 3pm.

Want another option? Okay, cool. We’ll be around the studio both days offering a quick wheel session to anyone for $5! 11am-4pm Friday and in between classes on Saturday.

Although our food booths are full, we still have a few craft or informational booths available if you or someone you know is interested. First come first “paid fee” served! $75 fee per 10x12 electric site for Friday & Saturday, Sept. 11-12. We have some great vendors this year that includes many that are with us every year plus a bunch of new ones!

Mt. Vernon River Days is again partnering with the Fairfield Inn
Fairfield Inn Evansville West (5400 Weston Rd., Evansville, IN 47712) to bring a discounted rate to our vendors, entertainers & participants who are visiting and need a hotel room. (No River Days affiliation ID required!)

You can get a special rate of $104.00 plus taxes per night for stays between Thursday, Sept. 10 - Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, but the last day to book is Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026.

They’re still looking for sponsors to partner with them for this worthwhile event happening during River Days!

Last chance for your business to to get highlighted on the shirts for the Special Olympics Indiana - Posey County’s 2nd Annual Firetruck Pull.

There’s still time to sign your 5-7 year old boy or girl up for the Mt. Vernon River Days Little Miss & Mr. Pageant! The deadline is Thursday, Sept. 10th.
