Couldn't let today pass without wishing Lucy Steinhart a very Happy Birthday 🥳. The talented lady juggling multiple roles. She achieves remarkable results for our animals. We also turned her into a better cat person. 😉 Her selfless behind-the-scenes work fuels Newlife's growth.💙

My sweet Savvy boy❣️

A Newlife resident since August, Savvy is quite the character once you get to know him. He is great with cats and other dogs. Likes to play with others but tires quickly and is ready to go back to laying around. He is very food motivated. House trained.

HOW is River still with us?!?! She’s a phenomenal girl and probably one of the best we’ve had at the shelter. She is house and crate trained and her kennel is always kept nice and tidy. She gets along great with every dog she’s met and LOVES people! She enjoys long walks, wrestling with other dogs, and splashing in any body of water she can find.

River is a 5.5yr old Husky mix 🐾

Meet long-time resident, James!! 🐾

This boy is now over 3yrs old and still as sweet (with some occasional sass) as ever! James is the type that is super happy to chill on the couch, but could also play fetch until his legs can’t carry him anymore. He LOVES his time outside and would love a home where he can have lots of it! James is great with cats and other dogs, loves people. His only flaw is that he’s often stubborn about house training.

He has been completely vetted as well as DNA tested!

Clyde is an 80lbs, 6yr old Dane/Lab/Terrier mix. He’s pretty independent and enjoys doing his own thing MOST of the time...

Clyde is an 80lbs, 6yr old Dane/Lab/Terrier mix. He’s pretty independent and enjoys doing his own thing MOST of the time. So if a dog that’s going to follow you everywhere and be constantly in your space is not in your book, he’s great! He also prefers to spend most of his time outside when the weather is nice. Sniffing and soaking up the sun. He is house trained and good with most other dogs. No cats please!
