✨Cute Patients of *Last* Week✨

Okay okay… we know we are 2 days late this time- in our defense, kitten season has officially taken over the clinic and we have been VERY busy snuggling tiny patients between surgeries.

To apologize, please accept this overwhelming amount of adorable kitten photos, along with some other cuties sprinkled in!

These little faces made last week extra cute, and we are so grateful we get to help so many animals in our community every single day.

⚠SPOTS JUST OPENED FOR OUR $25 CAT NEUTER SPECIAL⚠

**Please make sure that you are reading the entirety of this post if you are wanting to schedule for this special.**

Due to the huge response for our $25 Cat Neuter Special for the month of May, we opened some additional spots- some as soon as tomorrow! We also have more Preventative Care Appointments available for the month!

May Cat Neuter Special! $25 Cat Neuters!
For the entire month of May (yes, even including tomorrow!) male cat neuters at our clinic are only $25!
With an appointment that day, your cat will receive:
✔️ Neuter Surgery
✔️ Additional Days of Pain Medication
A rabies vaccination is required by law, if you don't have proof of a previous vaccine. We can do them the same day as surgery for $10!

We are excited to announce that there are NO restrictions for this special! Anyone that is able to bring their kitty to our clinic in Morgantown, WV is able to claim a spot for this special!

Please note, our May special is only available for male cats at this time. We plan to do future specials including female cats, but we do not have those details at this time.

To make an appointment for this special, go to snipwv.org and click on Make an Appointment in the menu. You must select a date in May If dates do not appear, then the appointment type has been filled. Make sure to put "May Special" in the appointment notes at the end, you won't need to pay a deposit to book these spots. Please note that it will show the normal full cost for the surgery, the discount is applied when we check you out!

These spots are expected to go quickly! As always, if you book an appointment and need to cancel it please let us know ASAP so we can open it up for another animal that needs it!

✨ Cute Patients of the Week at SNIP WV ✨

We may spend our days counting surgery packs, answering phones, and cleaning up mystery puddles… but these faces make it all worth it. ❤️

This week’s patients were extra adorable- from sleepy puppies wrapped up like burritos to kittens determined to cause chaos immediately after waking up from surgery. Tiny but dramatic seems to be the theme around here lately- especially with our Feral Free Days starting back up! Make sure you check out our previous post for an update on scheduling for community cats!

⚠ Our $25 Male Cat Neuter special is still going on! We added a couple extra days so we still have spots open as soon as this week! Check out our pinned post for details!

• Multipurpose cleaner (Lysol, Mr. Clean, etc.)

Today we completed our first Feral Free Day of 2026!

A huge thank you goes out to the WVSNP grant administered by the WV Department of Agriculture for continuing to make this program possible. Since opening our doors in July of 2022, this funding has allowed us to spay/neuter 1,611 animals at no cost to their owners/caregivers- a LARGE portion of those being community cats through our Feral Free Program. This grant has made a tremendous impact on the cats, the people caring for them, and the community-and we are so grateful for the continued support.

We are excited to get the program rolling again this year and help as many cats as possible with the resources available!

🐾 2026 FERAL FREE PROGRAM UPDATE 🐾

We have received grant funding for our 2026 Feral Free Program. As our total grant funds for this program is less this year, we will likely impose some restrictions on the number of cats per visit/client to ensure that we help as many folks as we can. Please be kind and remember that, unfortunately, having a feral colony is not a unique situation and we are doing the best we can with limited resources.

We encourage those of you in counties with voucher programs to continue obtaining vouchers for your stray and feral cats in order to leave our grant funding for those in counties with no assistance. If you are local to us you can check out the Resources tab on our website for a list of some groups that offer Spay/Neuter Assistance!

If you are caring for feral cats, email [email protected] with your name, address, phone number, approximate number of cats, and let us know if you’re able to handle them or if you will be using catch and release traps. You can also email us if you have a voucher and are unable to secure an appointment on the website- just include that information in your email as well!

Just a reminder that we are located in Morgantown, WV and we do not trap and transport, so you will need to be able to transport the cats to and from our clinic.

Huge thank you to everyone who has dropped off donations for SNIP WV over the last week!

After sharing that some of our supplies were getting low, our community really stepped up. We’ve already received so many much-needed items, and it makes a huge difference for our clinic, staff, and patients.

We go through these supplies fast, especially during busy surgery weeks, so every donation truly helps keep us going. Thank you for supporting our mission and helping us continue providing affordable spay/neuter services in our community. 🐾

If you have been waiting for our next shipment of these T-shirts- they are here!

The shirt pictured (back, front) is now available at our clinic located at 1470 Earl L Core Road Morgantown, WV 26505 for a donation of $20.

You can stop by the clinic any day that we are open! Please keep in mind, we are in surgery all morning and most of the afternoon, so it may take us a few moments if you come during that time.

As a reminder, we are here through Saturday this week!

✨ Cute Patients of the Week at SNIP WV ✨

Yeah… it’s TWO days late this time. 😅 But in our defense, we’ve been just a *little* busy helping adorable furkids not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem!

Between surgeries, recovery snuggles, answering messages, and keeping up with the chaos, these sweet faces patiently waited their turn to become this week’s stars.

We are so thankful for every pet owner, rescuer, and supporter who keeps us going- and of course for every wagging tail, tiny toe bean, and dramatic post-op cat glare we get to see each week.

🆘We are running critically low on some of our supplies!🆘

This kitten just got a peek in our supply closet and is concerned with how low our Puppy Pad and Bleach supply is getting! We could really use some donations right now to help us as we just started our first neuter special of the year and are about to resume our Feral Free Program scheduling (more about this very soon!). I am sure you can imagine, we go through cases of these items each week!

If you are interested in helping us out, donations can be shipped or delivered to our clinic at 1470 Earl L Core Road Morgantown WV 26505 any day that we are open! We are in office this week Monday through Thursday. Next week we will be here Tuesday through Saturday! Please note, if you are ordering online and it ships a day we are closed they will hold it at the warehouse for us until we are back in office!

We couldn't offer these programs without our community support, we are truly grateful for every donation. Please share and help us restock our shelves while we get ready for another month full of spay and neuter!

We’re back with another roundup of the absolute CUTEST patients who came to see us this week- and let’s just say, the level of adorable was almost too hard to choose just a few to share!

From tiny toe beans to wiggly tails and a few dramatic “I have been personally wronged” faces, this week’s crew kept us smiling from start to finish.
